Washington County Christian School is a private, non-denominational, non-profit Christian school. We offer high academic and spiritual standards to families in the Tri-County area. Each student is given warm, personalized care by the teacher and staff. The teachers are of the highest caliber and are educationally prepared to give each student a thorough scholastic background with a distinct emphasis on patriotism and character training. WCCS has provided excellent academics in a caring Christian environment since 1995.
HOW DOES A STUDENT ENROLL?
Enrollment packets may be picked up at the School office beginning in April. A $100 registration fee is due when enrollment card is returned. This fee is nonrefundable and nontransferable. This fee will hold the student's place until the August payment is due. If there is no opening, the registration fee will hold a place on the waiting list and you will be notified when an opening becomes available.
Students enrolling in the Kindergarten program must turn of age before September 1. Entrance tests will be scheduled for all incoming students, grades 1-8 when deemed necessary.
WHEN DOES SCHOOL BEGIN?
Kindergarten - Orientation Day for three through five-year-old kindergarten is Friday, July 30. The first day of school is Monday, August 2. Regular class hours are from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.
Grades 1-8 - Orientation Day for grades 1-8 is Friday, July 30. The first day of school is Monday, August 2. Regular school hours are from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
All students, grade 1-8 are expected to be at the very important orientation meeting. At least one parent must attend for students.
WHAT IS THE COST?
The first payment on the 10-period pay plan will be due in advance by August 1, or the student's place will be forfeited. The tuition payment is nonrefundable and nontransferable, under any circumstances. Subsequent tuition payments are due the first of each month in advance. The last payment is due by May 1. Tuition rates for the 2004-2005 school year is as follows:
Kindergarten - The tuition for kindergarten (8am to 12noon) for each three through five-year-old child is $180.00 per payment figured on a 10-period pay plan which begins August 1.

DO YOU HAVE AN EXTENDED SCHOOL DAY PROGRAM?
Extended morning care is $5.00 per week (6:30-7:30am).
Kindergarten - Full extended school day is available from 6:30 am until 5:30 pm for $85.00 per month (passed on 10-period pay plan).
Grades 1-8 - Extended school day is available for students in grades 1-5 from 3:15 to 5:30 pm for $15.00 per week.
WHAT IF MY CHILD NEEDS SUMMER SCHOOL?
WCCS offers eight weeks of summer daycamp with concentration in fun for grades K-5. The program is designed to give pure enjoyment and relaxation for the students with craft activities, field trips, and swimming. To be assured of a place, make arrangements in May. The cost is $65.00 per week. Classes are from June 1 to July 23. Hours are from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm.
WHAT EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES ARE AVAILABLE?
Students participate in various group and community activities including drama, sign language, chorus, speech competition, spelling bees, Presidential Physical fitness, and Bible Sword Drills.
