Our History
Organized in 1995, Washington County Christian School is a private, nondenominational, nonprofit Christian School that offers high academic and spiritual standards to families in the Tri-County area. The school was founded by a group of parents with a dream and vision of a positive, Christian learning environment for their children. After eight years of operation WCCS has grown from a three grade, one building, 30 student, 5 staff school into an eleven grade, two facility, 96 student, 14 staff blessing from God. It is a rapidly growing school, and its growth is due to the fact that parents are satisfied with the results of the learning program that their children receive. Each student has a warm personal contact with the teacher that is needed to provide a positive learning environment. The purpose of the school is to give Christian training along with a solid academic foundation in the basic fundamentals of learning for the average and the above-average child. The teachers are of the highest caliber and are educationally prepared to give each student a thorough scholastic background. There is a distinct emphasis on patriotism and character training. The teachers and staff of Washington County Christian School realize the solemn responsibility before God in molding the life and character of each child's future.
